For several years, Mimi Chui(Hong Kong, 2001) has created colourful paintings and drawings on canvas in wood boards and frames. She paints with every paper, panel and self-made paper scroll for patterning and texturing colours to convey an aesthetic of nature to the viewer. Mimi has a background in creative digital media design and fine art. She blended and combined her creative skills and design experience into her artworks. She has exhibited her paintings at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, HKBU AVA Graduation Show and Spike Island in Bristol, UK.
